As we approach E3 2017, companies plans are beginning to show what they’re planning for the event. One of the biggest players at the show this year is Ubisoft. The company is setting up for one of their biggest appearances in years. Thanks to a new video, we now know a little bit more about what the company will show off at E3.
Ubisoft released a new teaser video highlighting some of what will be shown off. As you can see in the video below, one of the most notable takeaways is an apparent new IP. The firm is known for showing off new IPs during its E3 briefings, and this year doesn’t look to be any different.
The company is also confirming its plans to show off some of its most anticipated games. Titles like South Park: The Fractured But Whole and Far Cry 5 will appear at the show. Additionally, Ubisoft will reveal more information about new iterations in The Crew, Just Dance and of course, Assassin’s Creed.
Many expect Assassin’s Creed: Origins to be the game Ubisoft is referring to. The Crew 2 was already announced during their latest conference call, and a new Just Dance was expected as well. Yves Guillemot, who is the CEO and co-founder of Ubisoft, talked about E3 and what it means for Ubisoft.
“E3 is truly a moment of excitement and pride, not just for Ubisoft but for our entire industry. Ultimately, Ubisoft’s games are the result of the collective efforts of our talented teams from all around the world, collaboration with the biggest names in entertainment, and contributions from the players themselves. That’s why we can’t wait for the thousands of fans at this year’s E3 — and the millions watching from home — to discover our unique take on creating game worlds and the action-packed line-up we have in store for them,” Guillemot said.
Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press briefing will take place on Monday, June 12 at 1 p.m. PDT. There will be a 40 minute pre-show beginning at 12:20 p.m. PDT. Games can see both via Ubisoft.com, Ubisoft’s YouTube channel as well as their Twitch channel. Ubisoft will certainly be making a splash at E3 2017. Expect a major presence from them at both the Microsoft and Sony conferences. Stick around here at We Write Things for more on Ubisoft.
