Focus Home Interactive and Deck13 have teamed up to bring yet another new RPG experience to life in the form of The Surge. The game will be a futuristic take on the popular Dark Souls-style of game. Folks who haven’t played those types of games before will need to know this is a challenging style.
The Surge is currently on track to be released sometime next year. Gamers who are looking for an exact release date will be disappointed to hear that none was listed. Additionally, no release time frame was announced either, but expect to hear more sometime next year.
In case you cannot wait to get your hands on The Surge, we’ve got a new gameplay trailer for you to enjoy. Today, Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive released a brand-new trailer for The Surge. The new video tracks about 15 minutes long, so enjoy this new slice of RPG goodness.
This game plays in a very interesting way and I think gamers will enjoy it. It is definitely a gritty style that you could easily compare to Lords of the Fallen. That game was also created by Deck13 and debuted back in October 2014. The Surge takes place in a post-apocalyptic, futuristic setting and presents a nice contrast to Lords.
The Surge will launch sometime during 2017 and will debut on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned to We Play Things for more video games news.
