Boss Key Productions is a matter of days away from launching their new shooter LawBreakers. To help prepare for launch, they are holding an open beta across both PS4 and PC. The test will get underway starting tomorrow, July 28 at 7 a.m. PT. It will run through July 31 and end at 7 a.m. PT that day.

During the open beta, gamers can check out eight roles, six maps and four modes. Pre-downloading is available now for both PC and PS4 gamers who want to prepare. Boss Key Productions is dubbing the open beta a “last call” for those looking to check out the game before launch on Aug. 8.

Community feedback is an essential ingredient to Boss Key’s operations and this beta is no different. The version of LawBreakers will be a “near final” version of the upcoming shooter. In the open beta, you’ll be able to unlock and equip any Stash Drop content. This includes skins, stickers and profile pics.

Gamers will also get a look at the Wraith and Assassin’s Kinetic Blades. The latter is an exclusive item for players who participate in the game during the first week of launch. PC gamers will be able to test LawBreakers‘ Twitch features like account-link and broadcasting live.

LawBreakers possesses “thrilling omni-directional gunplay is guaranteed to challenge even the best players to bring their skills, get off the ground and deliver death from every angle with innovative movement systems and combat” abilities. The beta will work to help balance the game prior to launch.

Gamers can pick up the shooter for the price of $29.99. However, if you’re looking for some exclusive in-game content, the Deadzo Deluxe Edition is available for $39.99. Pre-ordering prior to launch will earn you exclusive in-game character skins. Future non-cosmetic updates will come to these versions of the game as well. LawBreakers launches on Aug. 8 for PS4 and PC. Stick around here at We Write Things for more on LawBreakers.
