Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studios are working on the next iteration in the Styx franchise. The game is going to debut in the next few months, and the push toward launch is on. Today, Focus Home Interactive sent out a brand-new trailer for Styx: Shards of Darkness. You can check it out below:

In Styx: Shards of Darkness, gamers will step into a deeper narrative and learn more about a complex world. Styx is run out of hiding and decides to infiltrate Korrangar, the city of the Dark Elves. Here is where the story will take shape and players will learn more about the new world of Styx.

The trailer above shows Styx overcome Elven defenses. His stealth skills are crucial in Shards of Darkness and daggers, knives and traps are his friends. Whether it is setting up a stealthy kill or forcing a distraction, gamers will need to mind their environments at all times.

Styx: Shards of Darkness will come alive thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 4. More precise and clearer visuals are a result of the technology. Unreal 4 showcases this game’s new environments in a spectacular fashion. Additionally, gamers will be able to jump into a new co-op mode, which lets them join a friend’s game and complete missions together.

Focus Home Interactive has revealed Styx: Shards of Darkness will launch in March sometime. Though they didn’t give an exact release date, this is exciting news for fans to hear. The game will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stick around here at We Write Things for more on Styx.
