Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) and Monolith Productions continue to push forward toward the release of Middle-earth: Shadow of War. The upcoming open-world game will take gamers through some historic events. Ever wonder what happens between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings?

Well, Shadow of War is seeking to tell that very story. As a result, gamers can expect some very, very familiar faces to appear. As has been the case with many trailers before, new bits of information continue to come to light about the game. This time, WBIE is releasing two new Shadow of War trailers.

First, gamers can get a great look at some of the dark, foul beasts that await them. Everything from small to large and ugly to ugly will be waiting for players. WBIE decides to showcase the monsters that are spreading throughout the lands of Mordor. This includes the famous Balrog Tar Goroth beast from the first film. Fans will remember he initially took down Gandalf.

Other creatures that sit in the wait for players are monsters like “fire-breathing drakes, ferocious graugs and caragors, spiders, Ghûls” and Carnán. WBIE also reckons the “mysterious spirit of nature” can take the form of a deadly creature when she so chooses. You can check out the new Shadow of War monsters trailer above.

WBIE is in the process of revealing some of the many Tribes that make up Shadow of War. Previously, the publisher showed off the Terror Tribe and today they’re revealing the Machine Tribe. This new faction thinks Mordor is coming into a new age, specifically an industrial one.

“Fueled by the mines of Tamon Angren, their smithies and forges turn out much of the Dark Lord’s war materiel, and the black plumes in the sky are a sign that the Machine tribe’s factories are near,” WBIE wrote. This new tribe takes a “mechanical approach” to war. Each member sees themselves as just one part of the greater whole, which will eventually conquer Mordor.

Fans who wish to check out the Machine Tribe trailer can view it above. These are the two new Shadow of War trailers, which WBIE continues to push out. The game is getting ready for a Oct. 10 release date on Xbox One X, Xbox One, PS4 Pro, PS4 and PC. Stick around here at We Write Things for more on Shadow of War.
