This past February, Ubisoft released its newest IP For Honor and the game is still going strong. With support remaining consistent from Ubisoft, more and more players are drifting back to the new game. Those who haven’t had a chance to play it will have a big chance to do so this weekend.

Starting on Aug. 10, gamers can play For Honor for free across PS4, Xbox One and PC. This will run until Aug. 13 when the offer ends. Full access to the game’s content is available for players, which provides incredible value for those wanting to play.

Players can enjoy “five intense multiplayer modes, a campaign playable solo or with a friend in online co-op, as well as the entire roster of diverse heroes and unique heroes that have been updated” since launch. Pre-loading is available now on PS4. If you want to buy the game after the free weekend, Ubisoft is offering the game for 50 percent off on all three platforms.

Consoles will feature the discount from Aug. 10 through Aug. 20, while PC runs it from Aug. 10 to Aug. 14. All progress made in the free trial will indeed carry over. The third season of “Grudge & Glory”, plus its biggest update, are coming starting on Aug. 15. It will bring new heroes, maps, gameplay updates and more.

Highland and Gladiator are the two new heroes entering the game next week. They’ll be free to Season Pass holders on Aug. 15, while non-holders can unlock them for 15,000 Steel on Aug. 22. This coming weekend will also star the finals in the For Honor Hero Series. The Season 3 Live Event: Grudge & Glory Reveal will take on Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. PDT via Twitch. Matches from the 1v1 tournament will broadcast as well as previews for the new heroes and maps.

Ubisoft’s For Honor is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Its multiplayer experience is truly a one of a kind journey and it immerses you from the start. Stick around here at We Write Things for more on For Honor.
