With the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, so much potential seems to lie within each. Gamers are constantly curious of how exactly these new systems will reshape the games we play. While it may take a while to see true gameplay innovations, resolution and frame rate are two immediate benefactors of the increase in power.

Xbox One X is coming this November, and many developers are looking to take advantage of its new muscle. A game that’s clearly doing this is Assassin’s Creed OriginsThe title has been under development for over three and a half years, and you can tell how much quality is present in the game.

While Assassin’s Creed Origins is vast, the dynamic resolution, which enables 4K on Xbox One X, is truly amazing. Assassin’s Creed Origins producer Julien Laferriere told We Write Things about the incredible visual benefits gained from Microsoft’s powerful Xbox One X.

“We always like to have new toys to play with. Our friends at Microsoft were kind enough to build the Xbox One X. It’s a really cool machine. What it enables for us is we built a dynamic resolution system. What that does on Xbox One X is it enables us to render the game in full 4K. The world we crafted on 4K is amazing. That’s just one of the things we can now do on Xbox One X,” Laferriere said.

From all of the games on display at E3 2017, Assassin’s Creed Origins shined the most on Xbox One X. The difference between the Xbox One X version of the game and it running on the S are incredible. Ubisoft seems to be taking advantage of Xbox One X’s abilities and Assassin’s Creed Origins’ dynamic resolution is jaw-dropping proof of that.

It is wonderful to have Assassin’s Creed back in the fold. The game is currently on the slate to debut this coming Oct. 27 for Xbox One X, Xbox One, PS4 Pro, PS4 and PC. Stick around here at We Write Things for much more from our interview with Ubisoft.
