ORIGINAL: The classic gaming console market is suddenly exploding with retro console after retro console. Every knows about the NES and SNES Classic Edition systems from Nintendo, but other firms are jumping into the game. AtGames is stepping forward as a major player themselves, and leading the way is the Sega Genesis.

To be more specific, the Sega Genesis Flashback is the system that’s on its way out soon. AtGames will release the Genesis Flashback this Sept. 22 for the price of $79.99. On the same day, the Atari Flashback 8 Gold will launch for the exact same price.

Earlier in the month, Atari Flashback Portable Game Player, Sega Ultimate Portable Game Player and Atari Flashback 8 Classic Game Console will debut. They will run you a cost of $59.99 per system and will debut on Sept. 1 of this year.

Focusing back on the Sega Genesis Flashback, the console will release with an incredible 85 games inside. These will be Sega Genesis and SMS titles from gaming’s glorious past. It will be complete with two wireless controllers and will support cartridge games. For the controllers, there are also “two legacy controller ports for optional wired” gamepads.

Gamers wondering what the games will look like should know they’ll run at 720p via the HD output. The Flashback will also feature scan line filtering, plus a save/pause/rewind feature for all 85 games. If you are wondering the exact list of games coming to the Sega Genesis Flashback in September, they are as follows:
