Crystal Dynamics is celebrating its 25th year of operation this year. The studio has created fan-favorite franchises like the hallowed Tomb Raider, addictive fun Lara Croft series and more. Crystal is celebrating their great anniversary by giving back to gamers everywhere.
Square Enix is announcing a new bundle for gamers who donate. If you purchase the Crystal Dynamics 25th Anniversary game bundle for $25, then you’ll receive 12 new and classic games. These include titles like Tomb Raider, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Legacy of Kain: Defiance and more.
Funds from the bundle will go to the GameChanger Charity. It is worth noting that this is a PC code only deal. Those looking to hop on this great deal can do so through this link. Ron Rosenberg, who is the co-head of Crystal Dynamics, spoke about the studio’s 25th Anniversary.
“The collaboration of our top industry talent all focused on creating ground-breaking, unprecedented gaming experiences is the engine that drives Crystal. We’re extremely proud of all that we’ve accomplished over the last twenty-five years, and, as we look to the future, we are excited to bring our passion and craftsmanship to even more games including the Avengers project,” Rosenberg said.
Crystal Dynamics is working on the new Avengers project, which was recently announced. The game is likely years away from seeing the light of day, however, the studio is working hard on the game. Also, rumors have popped up of Shadow of the Tomb Raider being the next installment in the series. No confirmation has come from Square Enix or the studio.
Square Enix recently announced that Kingdom Hearts 3 will finally launched in 2018. A handful of days ago at D23, they made the announcement official. They also released a new trailer confirming a collaboration with the Toy Story franchise. You can check out the new trailer here.
We’ll see what comes next from Crystal Dynamics. Its most recent installments in the Tomb Raider series are incredible. Hopefully that trend continues with whatever game comes next. Stick around here at We Write Things for more on gaming.
