In a little over a month from now, Ubisoft will release its newest IP For Honor. The highly anticipated melee-action game from Ubisoft Montreal will debut on Feb. 14. Before that time though, Ubisoft will host a closed beta for the game’s multiplayer experience.
Ubisoft has confirmed For Honor will receive a closed beta starting Jan. 26. The test will run from then until Jan. 29 for all three launch platforms. Whether you play on PS4, Xbox One or PC, you can sign up for the beta now through this link.
War of the Factions is a new, limited-time event where all three factions will battle it out. This is a mini-test of For Honor‘s Faction War metagame players will see at launch. Alongside the announcement, Ubisoft provided a brand-new trailer (John Snow narrator, anyone?) which you can view below:
War of the Factions will serve as a tool for tracking all multiplayer activities on all three platforms. This data from the closed beta will show who the winner is between the Samurai, Vikings and Knights. As We Write Things previously reported, players on the winning faction will be given a special reward. Additionally, all players who participate in the beta will receive a reward as well. These items will be transferable to the full game experience.
