This past E3, Capcom revealed the next iteration in the Dead Rising series, Dead Rising 4. The title is slated to debut this coming Dec. 6 on Xbox One and Windows 10, and Microsoft has dropped a new trailer for the title.

Gamers can take a look at the new action in the game’s latest trailer and see all kinds of bloody Dead Rising 4 action. Frank West has returned and the new trailer shows off gameplay from the Willamette Mall. A supposed recon mission has fallen into chaos and West is forced to slash his way out.

In true Dead Rising fashion, West humorously takes selfies of himself as he’s bashing in the skulls of enemies all over. The Willamette Mall is “key piece” to folks learning more about how the outbreak occurred. Take a look at the new trailer below:

Dead Rising 4 marks an all new chapter of one of the most popular zombie game franchises of all time. All the classic hallmarks of the ground breaking zombie series return, including a huge array of weapons and vehicles players can combine to combat the horde ranging from the practical – to the practically insane.

“With intense action and an unmatched level of weapon and character customization, Dead Rising 4 delivers a heart-pounding experience as you explore, scavenge and fight to survive in an open world sandbox on the brink of the next zombie apocalypse,” Microsoft wrote.

The last Dead Rising iteration we saw released when Xbox One first debuted in 2013. Gamers will get their next fill of the series this coming Dec. 6, though Microsoft still has Forza Horizon 3 (Sept. 27) and Gears of War 4 (Oct. 11) slated for launch this fall.

Dead Rising 4 has a timed-exclusive period with Microsoft and then the game is expected to arrive on PS4 at a later date. Stick around for more on Dead Rising here at We Write Things.
