By now you may have picked up Madden NFL 17 and are deep into the game’s Connected Franchise or Ultimate Team modes. Fantasy football drafts are coming and going for you and your friends, and the beginning of the NFL season is within sight.
To prepare for the new season, I did a computer only match-up between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos. If you remember correctly, the two teams faced off in Super Bowl 50 last year. The NFL has both teams slated to kick off the 2016 NFL season a week from tomorrow night in Denver.
The game will be the first regular season affair of the 2016 season and will be hosted inside of Untitled Football Stadium At Mile High. In case you don’t understand that reference, the Broncos still haven’t found a new corporate sponsor for their stadium since their previous sponsor, Sports Authority, went bankrupt.
Gamers who are interested in learning more about Madden NFL 17 should check out our review which is live now. The game’s Connected Franchise continues to be amazing and a personal favorite of mine. Gameplay has taken some entertaining steps forward with announcing that is updated weekly.
The announcing is being updated with patches that will include commentary about real-life storylines in the NFL. Colin Kaepernick’s stunt of sitting down during the National Anthem has or will be added to the game’s announcing. A few days back, the mention of Mark Sanchez’s several turnovers against the 49ers in Week 2 of the preseason was also added to Madden NFL 17‘s announcing. It’s a pretty cool feature when you consider how forgettable announcers usually are in sports video games.
Madden NFL 17 is available now for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. EA Sports is getting ready to launch 17 NHL 17 and FIFA 17 in the next few weeks. Stick around for more video game news, videos and fun here at We Write Things.
